​A man saw his favorite nurse while in a local hardware store

She said, "I'm surprised I saw you here.  I have some bad news and some re-e-a-a-l-l-l-y bad news"

"So what's the bad news?" asked the man.

"We received your test results yesterday" she said, "You only have 24 hours left to live"

"Oh dear" remarked the man, "So what's the really bad news?"

​She said, "I've been trying to call you since yesterday!"
